About Us

Amanda Mays graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in
English from Penn State University and received a Juris
Doctorate from Rutgers Law School-Newark.  While a law
student, she completed a Conflict Management
Concentration focusing on Negotiation, Mediation,
Alternative Dispute Resolution and Arbitration.   Prior to
her solo practice, Amanda managed the Family Law
Department and the Hackensack satellite office of The Law
Office of Jason T. Brown where she
litigated Contested
and Uncontested Divorces before New Jersey Superior
Court Justices in 11 Counties.
Amanda completed a Federal Judicial Externship with
Honorable Ronald J. Hedges, was a Mediator for the
Division of Consumer Affairs, and spent two years
managing International Swaps and Derivatives Association
Agreements for Goldman Sachs & Co.  While at Goldman
Sachs & Co., Amanda completed courses through Goldman
Sachs University, including corporate negotiation.  

Amanda has counseled Domestic Violence victims through
the Metropolitan Council on Jewish Poverty.  

Amanda brings a unique vantage point to the practice,
combining a background in Mediation, Negotiation, Family
Law, and Finance.  Amanda Mays is admitted to practice
law in all Courts of New Jersey and the United States
District Court for the District of New Jersey.  She is a
member of the New Jersey Bar Association Family Law
Section and Young Lawyers Division, and the Middlesex
County Bar Association.
